Leinster League rules if teams finish level on points
2.1 TEAMS TIED ON EQUAL POINTS IN ALL LEAGUE COMPETITIONS
In the event of two or more teams in a Division / Section finishing level on league points, the winner of such shall be decided by the following criteria:
(i) The team with the most wins in the league;
(ii) The result of the game(s) between the teams;
In the event of the teams playing each other more than once in the League the result will be decided as follows:
(a) the team with the greater number of league points in the games against each other;
(b) the team with better point’s difference in the games against each other;
(c) the team that scored most tries in the games against each other;
(iii) The actual point’s difference scored for and against all teams in the League;
(iv) The team that has scored most tries in the League:
(v) A play off at a neutral venue

Youths/Minis tours
Please note & inform your area committee that permission for tours to or from the other 3 Home Nations i.e. England, Scotland & Wales is not required by either the Branch or the IRFU. However, the Youths Committee needs to be informed of such tours. The Youths committee also requires to have confirmation that tours to the other 3 Home Unions are organised & managed in compliance with the requirements set out in pages 34 & 35 of the Child Welfare Policy Document and that adequate insurance is in place. Youths Committee, Branch & IRFU permission is required for tours to or from all other Unions. The need to have the organisation & management of tours to other Unions comply with the requirements set out in pages 34 & 35 of the Child Welfare Policy Document and to have adequate insurance in place for overseas tours also remain
2nds league
A bonus point win for the 2nds against Ennisvorthy will be enough to clinch the Leinster League, easier said than done!
